Queen Elizabeth Park

As I walked down 25th Avenue towards campus, I saw an intriguing dome structure in the distance to the south at the proximity of Queen Elizabeth Park. My curiosity led me towards it. Keeping the dome as my landmark, I came by an open field and Nat Bailey Stadium.
Probably too small to read the scoreboard but this stadium belongs to the Little Mountain Baseball- Canada's First Little League. At the time I was there, a bunch of crows were occupying the field.
Up the hill, were fountains. Nothing special about them, but it does give the park a certain modern character together with the red standing clock and the sculptures around.
From the edge of the hill, I could see the whole area of Vancouver including Downtown, East Vancouver and the mountains to the North.
In a shallow dugout bowl below the Bloedel Conservatory, the quarry garden showing off shades of lush green and brown.
Reflections in the quarry pond.
Walking towards cambie street, the sky bled orange and red.
I had originally come down from the hill to head home but ran up again to this bridge to catch the sun go down. Not worth the effort and I should have just stood where I was to admire the changing sky.
Not that I did not know where I was, but i was looking for this park sign. Found it just as I was leaving the park towards the bus stop.
